Software Developer – Healthcare IT – Seeking a talented and dedicated PHP and Ruby on Rails developer to join our growing internal development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience building PHP and MySQL applications in a LAMP environment. We are developing innovative solutions for the Healthcare industry, including e-learning systems for physicians and nurses, clinical decision support tools, electronic medical records management, and patient oriented health educational platforms.
Qualifications – 2+ years professional experience with PHP and MySQL application development. Applicant must have excellent English oral and written communications skills, detail oriented, motivated with the ability to thrive as a member of a multi-discipline team. Applicant should enjoy finding elegant solutions to complex problems. Must have the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and take ownership of tasks.
Candidate must have an in depth knowledge of application engineering processes, expertise building applications using OO, PHP, MySQL, SQL, MVC. CSS, HTML, DTML, xHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, SVN and frameworks. Must be familiar with caching, sessions, and authentication. Experience crafting complex optimized SQL queries is essential. Must have excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills, the ability to develop and implement automated regression test environments, knowledge of web standards, experience in implementing content management systems requiring strong understanding of MySQL in a Linux environment. Knowledge related to Moodle, Drupal, Joomla, agile development using scrum, TDD, bioinformatics, Erlang, adaptive learning systems, user personalization and data mining a plus.

No, the challenge is just NOT to come up with a solution but write a program that will come up with a solution. And just printing the solution that came out of your head does not cut it.
3) Develop a program to do a comparison of the monthly NPI data files – see 2) above. Starting with the February 2010 file and the March 2010 file the program should produced a report to show the difference. The report should show the number of records deleted, the number of records changed, and the number of records added.
