We are Adventure Divers, a PADI certified scuba dive shop located in the coastal Pacific Mexican Riviera town of Zihuatanejo. We are offering a scuba diving internship work exchange program for anyone who is interested in either becoming a certified diver or certified dive professional in exchange for working at our dive shop. Why not spend a few months bathing in the warm sun of Mexico while scuba diving and perhaps even learning Spanish!
The responsibilities of our internship cover all facets of the dive operation and you will learn about scuba diving from the bottom up. You do not need any prior dive experience, just a willingness to learn and a passion for the ocean and the hidden beauty that it holds just beneath the surface. Most of our clientele is English speaking, so at least 95% English proficiency is a must. As an intern you will learn the ropes of our dive business and boat operation. This is a physical job and requires the ability to lift tanks & dive equipment, assist divers in and out of the boat, etc.
If you are coming from outside of Mexico, we can assist you with the transition, help you to secure a rental apartment & get you situated in Zihuatanejo. We can also assist you with your visa paperwork and even set up a Spanish language program to help you get the most out of your stay in Mexico.
