Channel Solutions manages the Americas partner channel for Messaging Architects. Messaging Architects provides cutting edge solutions to many of the e-mail complexities facing today’s ever changing electronic landscape.
Job Description:
Channel Solutions currently has an opportunity available in Buenos Aires Argentina for a Channel Account Manager (Gerente de Cuentas de Canal). This position and is responsible for profiling and tiering existing Value Added Resellers, as well as targeting and recruiting additional high-value messaging/email partners, and assisting those partners in driving sales revenue in Southern Latin America (SOLA) countries of Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
The ideal Gerente de Cuentas de Canal is a success-driven salesperson who builds strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, and enjoys a dynamic and changing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Conduct call outs to determine interest and drive resellers to pro-actively sell messaging/email products
. Tier or rank resellers as appropriate and provide additional support and communication for resellers
. Target and prioritize the recruitment of additional resellers.
. Manage and drive readiness with assigned partners
QUALIFICATIONS:
. College degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration or IT
. One to four years of related technical sales experience, preferably within a contact center or fast-moving sales environment
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) including outstanding telephone presence
. Strong business and financial acumen
. Self-motivated, accountable approach, combined with strong sense of teamwork
. English language skills a strong plus. Portuguese skills also beneficial.
. Affinity for technology required. Email/Messaging proficiency or experience a strong plus
. Must have proficiency with various software applications program including Microsoft Office and one of the following: Novell GroupWise, Microsoft Outlook and/or Lotus Notes
