StarChefs.com is looking for a Food Writer/Assistant for our upcoming trip to San Sebastian Gastronomika in Spain!
We need a local food aficionado photographer to attend chef lectures on November 23, 24, and 25 with our Managing Editor to take photos of expertly plated dishes and the chefs and attendees in action. You will need some experience in the restaurant industry to make sure you get shots of all of the chefs. Since these presentations will all be in Spanish or Catalan, you must be fully bilingual. You will also need your own camera and tripod, and you will need to upload your photos onto the StarChefs laptop computer at the end of each day. Please include links to your work in your cover letter.
San Sebastian is the city with the most Michelin stars per square meter in the world. This is a great opportunity to learn from some of Spain’s greatest chefs, so you must know, love, and have experience with food and restaurants.
Requirements:
-Must be fully bilingual in Spanish/Catalan and English. French is a plus.
-Must live in Spain, preferably in San Sebastian.
-Must have strong knowledge of chefs, restaurants, and culinary terminology.
-Must have your own camera equipment, and be able to upload your photos to our computer.
Payment will be per diem, commensurate with experience. StarChefs.com cannot provide housing or travel.
