JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Business Intelligence Analyst, based in Buenos Aires.
Reports to: VP Global Business Intelligence
Starting Date: Immediatly
Job Summary: Provide Business Intelligence support to Sr. Management and Business Development working as part of Teleperformance’s Central Business Intelligence Agency (CIA). Functionally, this person will report to the VP of Global Business Intelligence in the U.S.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education, Languages and General Requirements:
• Strong writing and oral communication skills in BOTH
• ENGLISH AND PORTUGUESE OR
• ENGLISH AND DUTCH OR
• ENGLISH AND GERMAN
(focus of this position is not Spanish)
• Any other additional European languages are a plus.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree with major emphasis in Finance, Business or Engineering. (MBA a plus);
• Must have excellent quantitative, analytical and reporting skills;
• Critical thinking and very detailed oriented;
• Must be highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Candidates must be able to consistently perform in a high pace, deadline oriented, multi-task/project environment and work with minimal supervision;
• Proactive, “can do” and professional attitude.
• Knowledge of Contact Center market a plus
• Salesforce.com knowledge a plus;
Experience Requirements:
• 1-3 years of market research and/or business analysis experience;
• Extensive experience with Internet research is essential;
• Experience conducting primary research, mystery shopping is a plus;
• Experience working with financial statements and understanding key financials/ratios, etc; and
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
1) Research, consolidate, analyze and prepare reports on key competitors to support business development efforts. Reports requirements include but are not limited to:
• Daily monitoring of key competitors in order to identify opportunities or threats
• Research competitors quantitative and qualitative information by using external and internal sources on information
• Systematically validate information following standard operating procedures
• Analyze competitor’s financial statements and other communications
• Ongoing & systematically entry information in central intelligence database
• Develop periodic reports to management on competitor’s financial situation, locations, client list, contract information for each client, growth strategy, new initiatives and opportunities
2) Research, analyze and develop company profiles of key target clients/prospects to support business development efforts. Profile requirements include but are not limited to:
• Analysis of financial statements, press releases and market data in order to identify Lines of Business, Top Line Growth Strategy, Customer Service Initiatives (in house and with other providers) and Opportunities;
• Identify contact center providers, locations, size and terms. Identify in house operations;
• Identify key decision makers and gather contact information.
3) Conduct ad hoc research & analysis for specific industries and markets
4) Drive intelligence gathering efforts, working closely with local SMEs in the region
5) Responsible for producing weekly intelligence newsletter to senior management.
6) Position will require some level of data entry on a daily basis.
Note: Position schedule will be mainly during U.S. EST business hours.
Role may require availability during EMEA hours at times.
